So yesterday I went out to eat with my family. When the server brought my food he said "Here you go young man." It took a moment for the shock to set in. It is the first time I've passed. That comment made my day, it gave me the much needed hope that one day I can live normally as a guy. It's too bad he probably thought I was 13 (I'm seventeen now) but hey, you take what you can get. Just thought I would share this on here because I have nobody else to tell.

Does anyone else ever think that if they just transtion subtly enough over time, it would be like you've always been that way.

I know it's weird, maybe I'm a coward whos just to scared to come out.

Heres what I mean. Ive always been kind of butch, since i was a kid. I bind but never mention it. Ive been trying to lower my voice but I don't want people to notice. Im a weight lifter so would anyone really question the T inhancing protein powder.

And you know, i just think. Maybe if i make all these little changes without telling anyone people will just think ive always been this way.

Sorry for the ramble, I'd love to hear from others or just get a bit of support.

I think exploring whether this is really is a phase is less a question of time and more if this is something is really genuine you are experiencing in terms of dysphoria. Maybe you can talk to a counselor about this or something?

I have uncomfortable dreams with emphasis on my genitals once in a while, possibly being a product of dysphoria. I remember having chest dreams in the past, but they didn't seem to come around after i had top surgery.

I don't recall details of anything that happened in these dreams. I tend to forget.

This is my first post so sorry if I'm doing this wrong.
In November 2016 I started to realize the discontent with my sex/gender. I was 15 years old. Since then I thought I might be transgender, though I try to remain rational. Since that time I've tried debunking it as a phase or something like that. It is now January 2018 (I'm 16 now) and I still feel bad about my sex/gender, perhaps even worse.
Does this sound like a phase? How likely is it that it's a phase?

So, um, I don't feel comfortable talking to the people in my life about this topic. Not even the ones who know I'm trans. It's concerning the thing that everyone does once in a while that starts with 'm' and ends with "-ation". I'm a teenager, and of course, hormones are a thing. But since I'm trans, getting off has always ended with me regretting my existence. I just, I can't do it and it's frustrating me way more than it probably should. I was wondering what everybody else did about this- that is if anyone else has this issue. Yeah, this has been immensely awkward to type out. Thanks to anyone who bothers to read this mess aha-
