General Questions / Trans Resources in Toronto?
« on: February 15, 2017, 04:30:33 pm »
Kinda giving my location away, but oh well. Toronto is a big place... find me if you dare.
Regardless, I need help finding resources in Toronto for trans people (specifically FTM) that aren't filled to the brim with ideology. The inability to find help in Toronto is taking it toll on my life. Even my doctors (GP and Psychiatrist) both said they have no idea. So, if you're in Toronto or have lived in Toronto, do you mind passing on some wisdom?
The two most often discussed resources for help I have found are the 519 and the Sherbourne Health Centre. I have a friend who goes to both, and what he's told me and what I know about them from doing a Community Worker program they do not sound like the kind of place I will be well received. But, they seem to be the only place to go talk to people that doesn't have a 2+ year waitlist.
Cheers,
Connor Tea
